Specialties

While our therapists are trained to treat all of the above issues and more, Morgan and Doug are specially equipped to work with couples and families experiencing relationship difficulties.  Clients may choose to receive co-therapy, where both Doug and Morgan work together with you to resolve relationship issues.  We have received exceptionally positive feedback from couples who choose co-therapy.  Most couples feel very "at ease" working with our husband-wife therapist duo.  Both our therapists also specialize in helping women (and their partners) address female sexual pain.

CO-THERAPY

Doug and Morgan specialize in co-therapy with couples and families.  During co-therapy, both therapists are in the room together.  Our combined training as Marriage & Family Therapists and our experiences as a married couple place us in a unique position to help couples and families work through relational distress.  Couples relate well to Doug and Morgan, and enjoy having another couple in the room.  If you are interested in co-therapy, please let us know before your first session.

FEMALE SEXUAL PAIN

The reality is that millions of women experience dyspareunia (sexual pain) on a regular basis.  There are many types and subtypes of sexual pain, and many different causes.  Unfortunately, most doctors, therapists, and gynecologists are unfamiliar with the latest research and lack the training to properly diagnose and treat sexual pain disorders.  As a result, the majority of women suffer for years while searching for the help and information they need.

Our therapists are intimately familiar with the physical, emotional, and psychological difficulties associated with sexual pain.  We also understand many different types of sexual pain, and the latest research regarding diagnosis and treatment.  We will walk with you through the process of finding the right doctors who specialize in treating your painful condition.  Most importantly, we will listen to you and reassure you that your pain is real (it's not "all in your head").  Finally, we will help you heal the damage that sexual pain has caused to you and your closest relationships.
